The Creator

This is kind of the story of how it all came to be!!

I love illustrating and designing. I have always had a passion for comics, even as a young child I would create my own stories on paper.

I think what finally pushed me to create my own comic was when I saw the flourishing indie comic scene in my own backyard as well as overseas. I figured why don’t I throw my hat into the ring and see what happens.

Before I became a graphic artist and comic creator, I was a baker for nearly 10 years. Those experiences came in handy when developing “The Talking Bread”. The idea came to me in the early hours of the morning while working on an unrelated art commission. The idea would not leave my head as much as I tried, and that is how “The Talking Bread” was born. I see this series as the final nail in the coffin of my baking career.

I’ve always loved illustrating, as a kid I always had a pencil a paper close by to sketch out some characters, a comic, something I saw outside or on TV. As an adult I returned to study to help build my skills, but overall, it just comes down to practice.

Brad Aden

Creator of Super RBA

Hey everyone! My name is Bradley Adan, I was born in the town of Albury in Australia, since I was about 5 years old I’ve been in and out of hospitals with a heart condition.

During my childhood, I used video games, comics, manga, cartoons, anime and creative writing as a means of escape. I loved all of these fascinating worlds that people had created and the more I threw myself into them, the better I felt. I started writing during primary school. The stories were usually about dinosaurs and were pretty damn awful and no one will ever be allowed to read them. Ever. The “creative writing” I had to do in high school was a great deal better, (still terrible, but I had improved) but everybody must start somewhere.

More recently I have self-publish a trade paperback Else world story about SRBA and have been doing the con circuit in Victoria Australia for about two years. I have been invited back to many of the regional conventions and I love meeting new fans. Super Ready Battle Armor is my passion project, I live and breathe it. I really hope that you will enjoy reading it as much I did making it.

I believe that everyone has a story to tell. People are very creative, whether you can draw or write or any other artistic medium. So, get your story out there and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Believe in yourself! We can’t wait to see what you can do.
